About ECEL
Founded in April 2005, Emerald Coast Emerging Leaders (ECEL) is a young professionals program of the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce. Targeting the ages of 21 - 41, ECEL is now more than 285 young professionals strong.
ECEL is now led by an 8-person Advisory Board, which adopted the following mission statement during a retreat in late 2006: ECEL is dedicated to fostering community leadership while serving as a responsible voice and network for young executives who seek to grow personally and professionally.
Through a mixture of educational and social venues, this dynamic organization encourages personal and professional development, confidence building, and connections to the community and to each other. It hosts one social event or BASH (Business and Social Hour) and two lunches per quarter. Click here to find out about upcoming events.
